our philosophy

we know that healing can look very different from one person to the next. we strive to identify and implement the most efficient yet thorough treatment plan for each and every person who entrusts us with their care.

we facilitate healing by directing the nervous system through a variety of stimuli. your body does the rest.

our practitioners have different treatment styles and backgrounds, but they share a common reverence for the body and all that it can do, and a curiosity that allows them to find the missing pieces in the puzzle of your functional health.

tori kerneghan, RMT

(she, her)

with more than 15 years as a registered massage therapist and a graduate of sir sandford fleming college, tori believes movement is medicine for both the body and the mind.  her approach blends swedish style massage therapy, trigger point work, and whole-body care, always tailored to what her patients need most that day: focused treatment, restorative wellness, or somewhere in between.  she especially enjoys working with rotator cuff issues, headaches, and prenatal massage care.

outside the clinic, tori can usually be found hiking, gravel or mountain biking, snowboarding, or spending time with her 11-year-old golden retriever.  her background in competitive gymnastics and track & field shaped the way she understands movement, recovery, and the importance of feeling at home in your body.

tori is passionate about creating a space where patients feel listened to, supported, and cared for,  with the occasional well-timed joke to keep things human along the way.

we recommend booking with tori for targeted muscle work. she is our muscle master focusing on trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, biomechanics, and active living support.

nicole basque, RMT

(she, her)

nicole is a registered massage therapist who graduated from the canadian college of massage and hydrotherapy in 2009.  she also holds a bachelor of arts from mount allison university and is currently completing her third year of study at the sutherland chan school of osteopathy.

having practiced in Toronto for nearly a decade before moving her practice to collingwood in 2018, nicole views the body as an interconnected functional unit.  her holistic, puzzle-solving approach treats local, regional, and global systems simultaneously.  she blends fascial work and swedish massage with subtle, thorough osteopathic manual techniques to get to the root cause of systemic discomfort.  nicole has a particular clinical passion for working with the digestive system, the head and neck, and the ribs.  deeply committed to patient autonomy and self-confidence, she customizes every treatment based on direct communication, encouraging patients to ask questions and actively co-create their own recovery plans.  she believes that when a patient truly feels heard, rehabilitation and deep stress relief happen simultaneously.

outside the clinic, nicole’s active lifestyle is centred around her husband, kids, and the collingwood outdoors.  whether she is skiing, cycling, running, playing soccer, or practicing yoga and Pilates, she is always on the move—when she isn't hitting the books for her osteopathy program.  her deeply present, grounded approach ensures that every patient feels safe, understood, and supported in regaining trust in their body.

we recommend booking with nicole for complex cases where there is deep structural guarding or a persistent pattern that needs to be systematically released.
